Josh & Ela from the Byron Bay Surf Club were selected to represent Australia at the 2014 World Championships held in Montpellier, France. Troy Eady was appointed the Youth Team Physio.
Ela a long time member of the BBSLSC was full of excitement to represent her Club and Country at the 2014 World Championships in France. A proud moment when Ela won the U19 Interclub Iron Woman representing Byron Bay. Ela came home with 11 medals in total from these Championships.
Josh Brown has been a member of Byron Bay Surf Life Saving Club since the age of 6. He has been a representative of the Club, FNC Branch, NSW State and in 2014 had the honour of representing Australia as a member of the winning Australian Youth Lifesaving Team at the World Championships held in Montpellier, France.
Josh won 15 medals at the championships and currently holds the title of “World Youth Male Board Champion” and was in the “Australian Youth Male Medley Relay Team” which broke the world record.
