The Nipper Club Canteen is run on Club Sundays, as well as during the annual Byron Bay Nipper Carnival in December and the annual Winter Whale Bay Swim held in May.
The Canteen is stocked by our Canteen Supervisors and operated by each respective Age Group which has been rostered on as per our Season Calendar. The Canteen is a major source of funding for our Nipper Club to assist with the running costs, safety equipment and equipment that is used by the Nipper children such as the foam and fibreglass boards that are stored in the Nipper shed.
Parent Help Urgently Required
It is vital that we have parent assistance each Sunday to setup the Canteen and BBQ, cooking, serving and packing up.
Without support we would not be able to run the Canteen which would have a major impact on our budget and our ability to supply equipment for the use of the children.
Due to the large workload involved in operating the Canteen during our annual Carnival in December and the Winter Whale Swim held in May all Age Groups and their respective parents will be allocated a minimum of 2 hours for BBQ and Canteen duty. Parents are asked to make themselves available for these dates (Calendar).
Your contribution is greatly valued and appreciated as it is this assistance that enables us to continue to supply and/or sponsor equipment for the use of all our Nipper Children.
