Welcome to the Byron Bay Seniors with over 100 years of proud tradition in providing surf patrols to watch over Byron Bay’s beaches.
Our Senior Club offers physical and mental health outcomes for participants along with giving a social commitment to our community and visitors. There are a wide range of training sessions available to Members to keep up a level of fitness, in a range of disciplines, both on the water and on the beach.
Byron Bay Surf Life Saving is a Club for the whole family and a great way to meet and make new friends in the area. Surf Life Saving provides different disciplines to assist members to maintain their surf life saving skills, as well as provide regular physical activity that encourages fun and team work.
Keeping our beaches safe is our priority but it is not all that we do. Over the years our members have enjoyed considerable success in the competition arena, boasting Region, State, National and International champions in a range of disciplines.
Senior competition forms an integral part of Byron Bay’s Surf Life Saving activities and Members can compete at Club, State and National levels spanning swim, board, ski, beach, and other water, beach and boat sections in men and women’s competition.
New Members are always welcome.
